Frontline teams have visited Bulgaria twice a year since 2002 to work with
'St. Dimitar' Social Care Home for children and young people with learning
disabilities in Kula, North West Bulgaria.

Working closely with the Kula team, including the Frontline Development Worker.
STAFF TRAINING
Transferring essential skills for the future, involving people with
learning disabilities as trainers
PRACTICAL TASKS
Improving resources and encouraging self-help to ensure sustainability
INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES
Promoting advocacy and inclusion. Widening opportunities, experiences
& community presence
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Building political, social and spiritual contacts and networks for
mutual support and participation in developments and decision-making
EXCHANGE VISITS
involving people with a learning disability, through partnership with
'People First (Havering) International'
